Keane Eacobellis
Director

All about Keane...

Keane began on the path to Hollywood at a young age. Throughout most of his education, as early as first grade, Keane was on stage. It was the actor life for Keane through elementary, then middle school and through high school. Every play, musical, or performance would have Keane on stage, cultivating his artistic taste. He even won an award in his senior year for his involvement in the performing arts.

But it was never his end game. He wouldn't realize that until he reached college and noticed how driven his peers were, and how he was not. This lack of passion would disqualify him in Cal State Fullerton's exceedingly competitive Theatre program and Keane was, for the first time in his life, lost. So he did what any other college student would do. He changed his major. While stage acting had always been a favorite pastime of his, Keane had not given himself completely to Theatre. With a fascination for stories and a highly overactive imagination, Keane discovered a knack for writing. With the praise of many and a few honors from writing contests you've never heard of under his belt, Keane dabbled for a bit in playwriting before changing his major reluctantly to English.

Then, as if by fate, while signing up for classes, Keane would see a notice for a film class, and his world was forever changed. Keane realized that his Theatre experience had whet his appetite for the grandiose world of Hollywood. A regular patron for the movies, Keane realized that he had always longed to make people feel how he felt watching a movie. And after being an English major for a grand total of twenty minutes, Keane change his major to Film and TV. The last two years of college served as his induction into the film industry. Two years is nothing, however, and Keane knows he has a lot to learn. But hopefully that's why you're here. To learn as he does, to grow with him. Keane has set his sights and invites you to walk with him on his path to the bright lights in the big city of dreams.
